Dear Mrs Trunchbull,
Please excuse Syeha for being absent yesterday.
On the way to school, we made it as far as Hogsmeade when i heard a perilous bang.
The next thing i knew, our golden chariot was stuck in Willy Wonka's candy bar.
When my mechanic finally showed up hours later, he tried to pull us out with a bull cart with no luck.
So he used mini-size vacuum to try to dissolve the sticky stuff.
It started to work but then the vacuum fell off!
So he had to tow us to another mechanic's shop on Saturn to fix it.
We spent the next few hours waiting, watching reruns of Star Trek and reading old copies of Freaks and Geeks from 1984.
We did not get home until 2 o'clock this morning, so don't be surprised if my child is a little cranky today.
