altruistic aphorism

"In a society such as ours,
Industrialized to a highest degree,
Dominated by Scientism,
There is no longer room for your sensitivity.
One must be tough if one is allowed to live"
- Frantz Omar Fanon

Im riding on a mysterious midnight train.

The state Im in is that of maverick undefined, coupled with the fusion of unchartered fey but comfortable and safe journey.

Time and time again, one is challenged to question one's value conflict. In a battle with oneself; to triumph, what in ones state of judgement, ones best solution.

If one's life is indeed a parallel to a chess piece, does one still have the odds against the deadly move? Does one stay a puppet and not be able to counter-attack the kill of a pawn or any other, for that matter?

Im staking my odds, simply because i feel, the only parallel similarities between the game of a chess and the complex game of life has only one; and just maybe one thing in common. A forethought.

Life, even with the odds against oneself, when you feel you are the only one left sitting at the opposite side of the fence. Mind you, the only one, and that is not the most euphoric emotion. Still, has its gleams of sunshine.

If the course you feel, is for the best to be chartered, why not pursue it? Just because you have got to averse to conformity, does not make you no less of an adventurer. But bearing the fact, the odds are always with you; the need to have some settled opinion is the fact that you cannot bely the realities. You still need to face the reality and work your programs around it.

A hero is no less courageous just because one does a chivalrous deed in ones lifetime. One cannot always expect to be rewarded immediately. Think of all those unsung heroes who had done ones part for the love of ones country, community, religion etcetera.

The independent state of mind cannot be a made into a parallel comparison to that of a mediocre one. In the state of mind, one is judged by its threshold to withstand the grit and odious nerves which tries to overcome it through elusive evil.

My ride on the midnight train, has its mysterious stakes in it.

But still i sojourn, with a pinch of salt and a gleam of hope.
